You have to make sure shit goes well, or else your family might be upset if you ghost them for 6 months completely and make it hard to let you move back in

But if you don't get along with your family and can get a good enough job to save up like 100k and invest properly, it won't matter.

Ghosting family is a big decision to make . I would try to keep ties till your in a financial secure position where even if you don't have work for a year , you can still be fine
