Things like Santa Claus, for example. It seems psychotic to just fill a kids head with made up nonsense for no reason other than thinking it’s “cute” to manipulate them. Why do people even do this shit?

parents bring up santa claus because its better and more fun to believe in things that arent real opposed to real things

which sounds better, a jolly grandpa that rides deers in the sky personally delivers presents during midnight
or anythung other than that
