No. My friend joined the Air Force right after high school and he has to work like 12 hours a day. Also he says that basic training was hell (one time he almost passed out because the drill sergeant made him stand still for an extremely long time). Not to mention the military doesn't actually protect, it just brutalizes poor third worlders
