Would you leave a high paying job to relax for sometime ?

Title. I've been thinking of this for some time now. Just do nothing and spend time with my parents and my friends for a few months. The problem is that I put my heart and soul into getting this job. It's very high paying and I love my work but Idk man. Being in big tech, you feel it. The constant low-grade pressure and politics. I have started measuring days in tickets closed and meetings survived than anything. My work isn't the work that I used to do in smaller companies. Not a dramatic resignation or NEET for life Just a pause. I know I sound incredibly condescending and ungrateful rn but I'm genuinely considering it.

If you have enough money aside and won't stress about running out of it then sure

I usually try to avoid taking time off my job.

Because, when i get a grip of my job, i don't mind going to it.

But as soon as i get more than 2 days off, i hardly wake up to go back to work, it killes me to wake up after a break.

I get used to my job, if i go to it for long enough.

So, no i wouldn't.

U only get to live once. If u feel like u want to live for yourself then fucking do it. Youth is far more important than money or anything. Even billionaires would do everything to get their youth back

Think about how you'll feel if u wageslave till ur 40s and then regret not enjoying your when u wre young.

So if u got enough savings then quit the job and live with ur family and friends enjoy the last times of your youth.
