I'm the same. I hate lying but I've messed up so many opportunities to be in a relationship or friends with benefits because I didn't lie, and I'm left here single and alone.

When I'm ready to date again, I plan to go full machiavellian. I figure I'll watch movies and read books about conmen and liars to start to enjoy it and change myself (hopefully) into some one that can really love doing this.

I do want to be in love. To love some one and lie to them will be the hardest thing but being unwilling to do the hard things in life leads to failure and misery.

You know how the saying goes. And there’s wisdom to it.

All genuinely heartless men become that way because they realize any other way is unreasonable.

Lying about the first two isn’t necessary. The fourth one you just have to give off vibes that you’re kind and caring and loving. You don’t have to agree with her on which Spider-Man movie was the best version.

The most important lie is lying about money. How much of it you have. This lie is SO important in fact that I’m working hard to accumulate such a large sum that I don’t even have to lie about it.
