Let's just say you get accepted into top tier MBA program in say Wharton, Sloan, Stern, Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia etc but the tuition itself is 6 figures and it would easily set you back a cool qyarter million dollars to get a MBA degree from these world famous buisness schools. Would you sell off your property to study here? Take out a loan on such a huge amount or just try for still prestigious but affordable buisness schools like Ross, Manchester etc

I am asking myself the same question. Quarter million just for a brand name and learn case studies of buisness strategies that can be done online

Yeah, I feel higher studies in something like AI would be more valuable.

I think a degree in AI is more useless then a comp sci degree is today

Well I meant CS but concentrating in AI. Nobody should fall for degrees called "AI" lol.

Just start working for a good American company for many years and they'll cover a significant or even full portion of your MBA. Getting into (more) debt for an MBA esp when you're young is not wise imo

Lots of my relatives think MBAs are worth something but I don't think they are right off the bat.

Artificial intelligence isnโ€™t a degree, people who have ML jobs are either stats/cs/math/physics/engineering majors

The loans will kill you. You have to be 100% sure youโ€™re going to land a job after the fact. Just going to a prestigious university doesnโ€™t mean anything.

Are you trying to move from your country to the United States ?

if even harvard MBA grads are struggling to find work it's a pretty clear sign that the degree is oversaturated and redundant

Not U.S any country fine as long as the pay is good. I dont qualify for a MBA because I am too young and don't have work experience. I was just wondering if people here would take this kind of gamble

I have not much knowledge regarding this.

Calculate the amount of years to be breakeven assuming best outcome and worst outcome.

Everything is a risk anyway. It's good to take SMART risks
