Read his first book - "Double your Dating", that's what made him famous first and it has some legitimate original advice, the rest is just rehashed material, or stuff written by others, a lot of gurus in the self-improvement community become famous after one book, and then they just repeat themselves over and over again, they hire other people as ghostwriters, they launch product after product - books, DVDs, courses, seminars, etc., in fact DeAngelo even presented these tactics in his marketing products, he basically revealed his whole strategy that made him a famous PUA and rich.

Well, for me it was just another book from the many others I've read about PUA back then. The 'cocky and funny' part was the most important element there, and it's basically red pill philosophy before the term was even invented: put yourself first, act confident, balance your arrogance with humor so you won't look like an asshole and women will fall for you.
