The last few decades have been a painful experiment of quickly thrusting one incompatible culture onto another. People around the world are already past their limits when it comes to cultural patience. Knowing what change to daily life indians WILL bring, is going to spur a quick reaction.

There is also the recent end to an era of people controlling what they say for the sake of being politically correct. That shit is over. You still have some who are PC as shit. But most have moved on or moved away from it. So people are more willing to say shit others aren't going to like

Even if every indian coming out of india, behaved them selfs, not being in the news. People would still see them as strange and different. Even in that scenario, it would still take a long time before people moved their focus onto another group.

Before all this, everyone was looking at China for Covid and other bullshit. Also, its hard to sympathize for a people who go places they aren't welcomed. That maybe why they've been in the spot light for so long. They are only making things worse, thus justifying hate for them.
