And wow the results are really good. I naturally have a wavish curly hair but they were never defined and often looked kinda wirey but after applying this and scrunchingMy curls have great definition and seperation. They helped me manage my volume and shape it better also. Great results fully recommended

Do you have enough length in your hair to give volume?

Does your hair being weighed down suit your face more, or do you look better with volume (ie; while your hair was dry before using cream)?

If your hair suited your face better when it was dry and voluminous, I can help u get volume while still retaining some curl definition

Use curly hair mousse. Get it for ~โ‚น500 on amazon.
Apply it on damp hair right after your curling cream. Don't use too much though.

Rake this through your hair and the key part is to not scrunch.

You might find that the curls aren't as tight, but they'll still curl up enough to look good.

While taking your hair with mousse, bend downwards so that your hair falls down due to gravity and rake it that way.

Idea is to lift off as much hair as possible from sticking to your scalp.

If you use the right amount of both products and rake them properly, your curls will be defined even without scrunching.

use the hairdryer (on cold mode) and see if that looks better or worse than when you air dry it.

You need to experiment a LOT with the quantity of both creams, raking method, hair length, way of drying etc

It took me about 4-5 months of repeated experimenting to find out what method works for me.

Thanks for reading my thesis.

Cantu is one of the worst products u can possibly use
It might look good the first couple times but if u continue to use it, it will kill ur hair

Read my curly hair guide:
