Writing a short story about Eugenics and Euthanasia

I began work on my next short story (which I will submit to magazines per usual) and its about a patient who visits a doctor in a hotel room to be euthanized. In the story the doctor has started a company which practices eugenics. Patients who want to kill themselves humanely contact him to arrange their death.

The main character (not the doctor) is a bit autobiographical. He feels like Adam when God threw him away from Eden. Just like how I feel. He feels as if there is no way to get back the joy and elation he once felt. This coupled with his subumanity causes him to contact the doctor to be euthanized.

Because the doctor ensures that suicide is painless. Its better to leave peacefully than to suffer in a world where Eden is a far away memory.
