WTF, does a philtrum decrease with age?

I still have a bad philtrum (17 cm, 2.1 ratio), but I recently checked my old photos when I was 16-17 y. o. and I noticed that I looked like an ape, my chin to philtrum ratio was brutal and it was even 1.45 in some photos. But now the worst I got was 1.95 ratio. What could happen? Now I'm 21

As your bones grow, your philtrum most likely "shrank", so did mine.

I hope so, every feature of mine was incredibly disproportionate, huge nose and philtrum, deformed eyes, bloated face. The interesting thing is that I was decent looking until 12 y. o. And now I look more human again
