JBW has diminishing returns man and is something that ties itself strongly to social interactions rather then race ones (race and phenotype still matter but not to a degree one may expect). Japan is already facing a whole heap load of incidents from foreigners who enter there and some of them happen to be white. This is going to negatively impact the way Japanese people view white people and as such, it is going to lower white guy's increase in SMV. Also, going to japan as a white guy now isn't as impactful as it was 10 or 20 years ago. The SMV increase is small. Obv if you are an attractive white guy you are going to get JBW more, but now this impact isn't as strong as it could have been.
