Wtf is wrong with professional cameras at parties/weddings?

So i went to a party where the guy celebrates his 18th birthday, idk what they're called in english. There was music, a photographer etc

Rn i just recieved the pics from the party and HOLY SHIT. Even the prettiest girls and gl guys i saw that night are absolute subhumans in pics. In mirror selfies/in motion i got rated htn and above average by all people i asked. In the pics i was FUCKING LOW TIER NORMIE

For context: im not below htn since i got mostly hit on by htbs, htbs wont hit on an aspie ltn-mtn
So what causes this?

Tl: dr : htn in motion/mirror selfies, tons of gl people at the party, photographer takes tons of pics, EVERYONE descends hard. Not because of lightings or bcs they were tired or had acne etc. Its like everyones midface deformed

Obviously it wasnt a model photoshoot where he tells you how to pose and puts special lighting and comes up close. They were from a far

Pretty sure mirror is the most accurate, only thing is that it flips you. And if you get used to your mirror face, you're gonna notice tons of asymmetries if someone takes a photo of you and you are flipped. Mere Exposure effect is the name. Only you will notice the asymmetries and the brain will exagerate them since its used to the mirror view of yourself
