From my understanding watching the Duran - the purpose of the 300k conscripts is to fill out the pockets for logistics supply so the experienced professional soldiers can focus on the front lines. I'm no military expert but it makes sense to use the 300k to free up the regular soldiers to do their jobs at the front rather than wasting more experienced better equipped soldiers doing resupplies, support etc. That's why they've been given shitty gear, imo.

They're not going to be sent out to be fighting no Ukies just to free up the regulars who will be.

He thought Ukrainians would just surrender and celebrate his arrival, like when Hitler conquered Austria. Here's hoping he doesn't go nuclear in Ukraine, because the pressure for US to respond would be high, and Biden has promised it would be ''catastrophic to Russia''. To me it sounds catastrophic for the world.

It's said the 300k is just a front, and actually the mobilized amount is at least 1,2 million men. Still, it says Russia is in dire state militarily if it has to resort to giving even their logistic units gear like that. You think US or China has logistic units who don't get proper vests, helmets or boots?

You may be right. That picture is odd. I'd have expected better, too. Not sure what's going on there, tbh.

The pipeline sabotage has escalated this to some next level. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if we're going to see nukes being used before Christmas at this rate. Maybe tactical battlefield ones but nukes nevertheless.
