But whatever helps one another make sense of all of this, by all means, do what you gots to do. I was ridiculed growing up myself. Mocked for an alien. Other kids would have strange dreams about me. They didnt know what to make of it. So they called me an alien. Then I would have to use the stalls in the bathrooms because kid would see it and call me a monster. Or elephant dick boy. Ugh. That hurt my feelings. Although, my older sister's friends liked me a lot. They would practice on me. Ugh. And the babysitters would tell mom, "You don't have to pay me. Actually, I should be paying you."
