The crisis is now over in Wuhan and pretty much all of China as there have been no more reported cases in the whole country as of today.

Italy’s population is way older. Plus China is an authoritarian regime so they were able to put in stricter lockdown policies much quicker than Italy. Lastly, China is way richer than Italy and had more resources to deal with it.

China has 200 million elderly.

This disease just doesn’t hit elderly people either, it hits people with existing health problems hard too. Which is an even bigger chunk of the Chinese population when you factor in stuff like the constant pollution which fucks up the lungs and the body.

I’ll agree with the lockdown part, they did indeed close everything up. However at the start the hospitals in Wuhan were beyond overwhelmed. There were people collapsing on the street, dead people and dying people were literally laying on blankets in the hospital. Yet with all this, posted something like 150 a day at worst?

I just can’t believe it. Nothing adds up. It’s not surprising that Non-CCP controlled doctors in China gave much higher infection numbers and death tolls than what the CCP officially put out. It’s also not surprising that the same government we’re talking about here also has been caught lying about the severity of diseases before, like SARS back in ‘03.

China has tons of resources, sure. But they weren’t equipped to deal with this. There’s a reason why they rushed their response and had all their resources pushed to breaking point when trying to contain the virus in wuhan ALONE.

I just can’t believe the Chinese government. I have no incentive to. Prior evidence only points me in the direction of them being liars.
