This happened in 1999, I believe.
The wrestler, Droz, was going up against a wrestler named D’lo Brown. The match was going normal up until the last moments when Brown tried to do a finishing move on Droz. This move went terribly wrong and he ended up dropping the mf right on his head. There is no footage of the incident. WWE took the footage and locked it in an archive somewhere, titled “never to be viewed, copied, or discarded”
Some photos do exist though:
This was mere seconds before the eternal paralysis of Droz. Dude was in his prime wrestling career and this move instantly caused his entire life to go down the shitter.
He has been paralyzed ever since. This is him today:
He forgave D’lo Brown that very same night he got paralyzed. And Brown’s career went down the drain too, as he was guilty and wanted to leave the business.
Literally one simple move caused one man’s life to be forever changed for the worse, and caused another man to quit the hugest wrestling business in existence.
