X ray of my Open bite how to get it fixed

docter told me that it will get fixed with braces I thought I would need surgery and it's skeletal open bite he seems to believe otherwise.Previously I thought of waiting but honestly it's also affecting my confidence since I also have teeth gaps at front

Should I consider starting the treatment?
