To me xanax was better. Pregabalin came with dry mouth and too much brain fog. I think overall as short term ped for social situation benzos are by far the best.

Pregabalin makes me feel high and benzos make me feel normal/low inhib.

Neither are all that sedating except pregab in doses >300mg, I’ve had a generous dose of IV lorazepam before and was still awake and alert.

Lowest as possible but it has a cross tolerance with alcohol so if u drink allot u will need more. 1mg max first timer id say. If u go too high u feel just feel too lazy. Allot of the time u might need to drink a gd bit of coffee with it (doesnt counteract the effects on relaxation/inhibition) just to pick urself up if u take too much. Be wary of blackouts as well and pay gd for the proper stuff not a bag of 100 blue pills.

I pay the pharmacist a lil extra and he sells them to me without prescription but before that i used to buy them from the dark web and never had any problems

If ur too sedated to the point ur muscles feel lazy and limp u prob took a bit too much. At tht point I just but 2 tablespoons instant coffee in a mug and go. The benzo will keep ur bp down so u dont have to worry about it fking with u so much. Also once u get moving it gets better.

Be careful though when u are at tht point where u rly feel tht lazy and almost heavy like u cba moving. Ur taking too much and gna build a tolerance plus ur prob close to blackout.

My theory is that I have completely fucked up GABA and glutamate levels so benzos are actually therapeutic and stabilizing versus recreational for people like me

It is im not saying u should mix the two. Saying if u drink regularly (talking 3 times a week not once every 2 weeks) then u will have a higher thn the average started tolerance to benzos so u might need higher thn recommended starting dose so id try 1mg if thts the case as opposed to 0.5mg xanax.
