I have crooked teeth, and I'm in the process of getting braces at 18, although I don't know if my jaw is properly aligned or not. At this point, it most likely isn't, but I'd like to know your opinion. Besides that, my teeth are crowded and somewhat crooked, which contributes to a significant facial asymmetry. My other question is whether braces can correct this asymmetry, or if I need a palatal expander or some other surgery to fix it.
