U can have a stubble even if you don’t have very good beard genetics, just need the moustache and chin area to have dense hair

Yeah density and also the coloring and thickness of the individual hairs
Dark brown/black with decent thickness adds a nice contrast to well colored white skin

Oh nah mustache stubble only doesn't work imo for almost anyone

Just stubble. Good balance between bearded and clean shaven, it contours your jawline, gives you a masculine look but you still look classy and your features are still visible as if you were clean shaven, it doesn't make you look rustic or face frauding like a beard does.

Mustache only works if you're a true chad like him. Wouldn't recommend it to 99% of guys. How it was the norm and default look for men in multiple eras in history I'll never get.
