the phosphate stops acne growth of bacteria on the pimple. You only put it on the pimples. and the pills are Doxycycline Hyclate which also combats bacteria growth beneath the skin before hitting surface and then u know theres the tret. So i just got three hitters basically. Honest;y who gives a fuck the derm knows best lol

Doxycyclines great though it takes 2-3 months to work effectively for acne. Make sure you don't take any food or magnesium supplement for 2 hours after taking doxycycline to increase its effectiveness
