South asia has high genetic diversity but it's not ""deep"" like places like africa. South Asians all exist on the same spectrum/gradient. Africa has the highest and deepest genetic diversity due to being the origin of modern humans. Their populations are genetically distinct from each other than populations across other continents. African genetics diversity is broader and more ancient than south Asians. They can't be compared @savage21
