Why do you think so? Her jaw implant result is very good. I would rather go to her than mediocre male surgeon.
 
This is a good result, but I think it could be better. Front looks a lot better, but 3/4 view is less impressive: The back of the jaw is not as separated from the neck as it could be. I think if they turned the made the gonions stand out more, it would look better.

Maybe, but Eppley has bad results too. I haven't seen other jaw implant results from Ort, so it's hard to know what's her general level.

Eppley has bad results because he gives people what they want. If you look at his actual reviews, they are extremely positive.

I would avoid Ort because she is a woman. Women have hate in their hearts for incels and if you have surgery with her, you are putting your life (and looks) in her hands.

Many people don't know how to design implants.

I don't believe in this women-hating nonsense that is common on this forum. Ort's implant result was good. Catherine Zhang has had an OK implant result with a male patient.
 
@RealSurgerymax you don't do a surgeon rating on a public forum, but if you have anything to say about Ort it would be a valuable comment. She's not mentioned here very often. I consider her, though I think she's quite busy and I prefer to get it done fast.

Eppley is probably the #1 guy in the entire world when it comes to facial implants. His blog is great if you're interested in them, even if you don't like his aesthetic approach.

I don't see why he would be better than Yaremchuk. Eppley's blog can be a good resource, though Yaremchuk has good texts too. Yaremchuk wrote a book about facial implants if I recall correctly.

I'm not talking about your subjective opinion, I'm talking about experience performing surgeries and working directly with the companies that fabricate the implants. Yaremchuk split his time between being a professor and a surgeon. Eppley was a dedicated full-time plastic surgeon.

Do you have any evidence that Eppley is better at implants than Yaremchuk? I haven't seen anything that would imply that; quite the opposite, actually.

I just said in the very comment you quoted that it's not a matter of my opinion on who's "good" at implants. It's about experience and influence in the industry. Eppley is #1.

When choosing a surgeon, knowing who is a good or better surgeon is crucial.

So you don't have any evidence that Eppley is better than Yaremchuk when it comes to facial implants? I believe that Eppley is a fine surgeon, but I would not rank him higher than Yaremchuk. Eppley's results don't give me an impression of him being better than Yaremchuk. Your subjective opinion without evidence doesn't count.

Are you dense? I'm trying really hard to express that I'm not simply talking about wHo I tHiNk iS bEtTeR at facial implants in some subjective manner. I'm saying that Eppley is the top surgeon in that field, and you speak as if you're writing him off.

There is no good answer about who is better. It's subjective. Eppley is a mad scientist who likes experimenting. Yaremchuk is a conservative plastic surgeon who tries to avoid needing revisions. The very examples they display to the world probably reflect this difference in approach.

If experience matters, and neither of them had an overwhelming advantage in terms of abilities when starting out, it would be reasonable to conclude that Eppley is the more capable surgeon. Just because he showcases his more extreme procedures doesn't mean he can't place a conservative implant accurately.

I'm not writing him off; I just wrote that I believe that Eppley is a fine surgeon, but I would not rank him higher than Yaremchuk. Eppley might be a mad scientist, but most of us aren't going for that kind of implant; most of us want a natural-looking result. Eppley is one of the most well-known surgeons in the realm of implants, but I don't see that as a reason to recommend him over Yaremchuk.

Yaremchuk has written a book about facial implants. He has a lot of experience. Anyway, this topic is about Ort. And Ort's result is better than some of Eppley's results. Eppley being a man doesn't matter.

There’s no objective measure of this.

I am probably one of the least biased ppl on this forum when it comes to this debate (have a consultation with Dr.Y in a few weeks and with Dr.E later in September)

But it is by no means a closed case as to which ones better, Eppley was a dentist or some shit years before being a PS and Dr. Y as you point out was a professor (at Harvard for PS).

You seem a like a person that’s done 2 hours or research and now wants to simplify the world into King Eppley V everyone else religiously.

The exact pheno of a future botched candidate. :feelshah:

If you are going to respond to a series of comments, you should read more than one comment.

I said he's probably the #1 person in the world in terms of experience and expertise when it comes to facial implants. Not that he's my #1 favorite, or that his results are the #1 best.

It really is hard to drill into the head of the users here that it's possible to make an observation about something that is not just literally saying "I like this guy best."

Her chin passes her lower lip now and her lower lip is behind the upper lip. It's one of the weirdest shit i've ever seen. She needed bimax not fucking implant, I don't respect surgeons like this even though the surgeon performed what she was asked for.

Is she? She mentions receiving a DDS degree from Ohio state university. Apparently, she only operates on the face, which doesn't sound bad to me, but I wouldn't rank her higher than any other surgeon just because of that.

I have contacted her asking about the cost of a jaw implant. I suspect she might be a bit more expensive than some other surgeons. She seems to be busy, too, if Redditors are to be believed.
