so if you have ever looked into the use of yk11 you might have seen the studies on it that say it has neurotoxic effects on the hippocampus and that it can causes memory impairment, oxidative stress, inflation and mitochondrial dysfunction. these studies were tested on rats and in a rat brain, which isn't very reassuring but theres a caveat. these rats were given 0.36g/kg of weight, they were using Wistar rat which weight a average of 0.50kg after a quick conversion you can find out that these rats were taking around 175mg of YK11 (I know the math seems weird but this is the dose). any fitness bro will tell you that they test this stuff at very high amounts, the average dose that a body builder uses is typically 5-20 mg and thats what you would most likely be taking. so yes we have scientific evidence that YK11 has damaging pro-tiers on the hippocampus which is sub-optimal for cognitionmaxxing but if you take it at a moderate dose like you should be the effetcts are severely reduced and combining it with some kind of neuroprotective agent or really any pharmaceutical grade nootropic (adamax, bromantane, nootpept, etc) you can basically eliminate the risk of neurodamage and possibly increase cognition by using nootropics.
