Mirin bhai! How did you like the movie? The last part creeped me out good, ngl. It's quite disturbing to see the reveal at the end. There's actually a theory that the interviewer is supposed to be the killer, because Cheryl (the abducted victim who ends up... you know...) keeps asking the cameraman "I don't know what you want me to say," which indicates that she was waiting for yet another one of his command.
It was soo disturbinggg just creeped out more than scary definitely fun tho i like watching horror movies at dark at night whats ur fav horror movie you sound like you know what your talking about
Exactly, brother. Horror movies can creep you out. Poughkeepsie Tapes is one of those western horror movies that managed to creep me out, but it's usually Japanese horror movies that have this effect on me. If you don't mind reading subtitles, I can recommend you a bunch. If you are strictly into western horror movies, then I'd say give Lake Mungo (2008) a watch, as well as Last Shift (2014). These western horror movies managed to creep me out as well. Especially Lake Mungo. But I kind of feel bad for recommending it because there's a solid jump scare that stuck with me for a while. But like you, I watched it at night, by myself. So there's that.

I recommended it because it's a documentary-style horror movie like The Poughkeepsie Tapes is, and it's from the same era basically. Oh yeah, Megan is Missing is a decent one too, but more disturbing for the target audience (which was teenagers).
