when does anyone actually see u from a perfect 90 degree side angle in real life bro. think about it seriously when ur talking to someone, when ur at a social event, when ur on a date, people are almost always looking at u from a 3/4 angle or the front. these two angles are literally the most common viewing angle in basically every human interaction that exists yk

side profile is only relevent in like a very specific context like walking past someone in a hallway which lasts for what, two seconds lmao the 3/4 view is where ur cheekbone projection, ur facial harmony, ur eye area and ur overall bone structure all interact together at the same time. its a completly diferent and way more complex picture than side profile ever gonna be also explains why some guys look great in side profile photos and then look completly diferent in person. and why some guys with a mediocre side profile still have a really strong presence irl

i think the forums rating culture is partly responsible for this cuz side profile is just easier to photograph and analyze but its kinda creating a skewed perception of what actually matters in real world interactions like ur not a greek statue bro nobody is walking around u to admire ur side profile

unless you're an NDcel who never makes eye contact and stares straight forward while the person beside you speaks, unlikely that people will ever see your side mid-convo.
