Yes there were insane people like Mao and Pol Pot who killed a bunch of people but if you do your own research into the subject matter it quickly becomes obvious that most of what you are told about the soviet union and the cold war is bullshit propaganda. Life in these nations wasn't as bad as it's often made out to be and the planned economy was not as weak as often depicted. Yes many people were poor but that's also true for capitalist economies as well. Capitalism is bluepilled.

Lmfao my family escaped communism from Romania. My aunt literally hid inside a car next to the gas container to escape, my dad walked through a river at night next to armed guards that would shoot him on site if they shined them. And guess what my dad's family was literally the only one in his entire school in a major city with a car jflmao he had it better than everyone else there and it was still shit.
