In a way I think monks are therefore right when they prone detachment from the material world and being satisfied with what you have.
Human greed; always wanting more, is really what makes us unhappy truly. In the natural world, animals aren’t crippled by this constant desire for more and are consequently not suffering as we do.
IMO the only way to alleviate this suffering a bit is to try to satisfy with what you have and be thankful for it even if it is little.
Even if you ascend and get to chad status (which is highly unlikely), by keeping ur mindset, you’ll always want more ressources and always feel unfulfilled.

you dont need to isolate yourself, what you need is to change your perspective on your ego, see life like a game instead of getting atached to your ego and trying to protect it

and also most of the people who have lots of friends, women and resources probably dont take their egos seriously and see life more like a game thats why they are able to take more risks while a person who takes their ego seriously wants everything but never acomplishes anything because their image is built around the opinion of others and they develop self esteem issues
