Maybe you contributed to his overall negative self-worth, and your way of communicating to him that he was unattractive was morally questionable. But lying to someone would be stupid aswell. You should be able to tell someone the truth about their physical appearance.
In general ratings should always be encouraging rather than discouraging. Be realistic in your rating, but also be adviceful and helpful.
The mere insults and hopelessness certain users here like to propagate on the forum are not helpful at all.
That's why so many of you feel guilty because you know it's immoral. You know it can hurt someone.
So maybe stop acting like that if you don't wanna feel bad.
I feel there is a responsibility that you have as an adult in that regard when dealing with children which are plenty on this forum.

That guy clearly was severely depressed. His suffering was mostly related to his real life. He got bullied in school and his gf left him or something.
This is important because why would someone kill himself if his real life would be perfectly fine only because some randoms on the internet tell him he is ugly.
Its only a contributing factor but not the main source of his misery. People come here all the time with their mental issues already in place so to speak.
It would have happened sooner or later. The parents should have gotten him on medication and therapy. I know so many unattractive guys who got bullied and never killed themselves despite feeling like shit because of it. Mental health plays a big factor here.
