Saw this mentioned somewhere

Seems legit. U need a prescription though. It's not like other online places where u just fill in some basic questions

By filling in those questions, they actually prescribe you it. I wonder if they can actually write you a note of prescription. Nonetheless, if you give the question people access to tell your GP (one of the questions), then you can ask your GP for the prescription note.

Yeah I know, but they only prescribe you for their site. You never receive a prescription to use elsewhere

In order to get a prescription u can use at chemists or elsewhere, u need a physical prescription. Idk if NHS GPs prescribe fin for hair loss, since it's not considered a health issue. Getting a dut prescription would be impossible from them too. Best option would probs be hair transplant surgeon. But idk much about prescriptions

Ahh, I see.

I know they do prescribe finasteride somewhat easily for hair loss. I haven't heard of dutasteride, however. Likely a "finasteride failed, can I try dutasteride?" thing. I really did think that the prescription from those questionnaire sites were essentially a universal one since they're handed to the GP. Thanks for telling me otherwise!

In the us, you can just take some pics of your head and ask for it and they send it to you three days later

Yes, u can do that through online sites here. No pictures, just questions. I ordered it for like £7 a month

But for the site here where it's £2 a month u need an external prescription. Aka a proper prescription

Wdym by this? Online pharmacies work the same as telehealth companies like manual. They need to be "approved" in order for you to get the product, but u don't receive a prescription, and it doesn't go through your GP

They can notify your GP regarding the prescription AFAIK. It's one of the questions generally. I choose not to let them, but they can if specified.

Regardless, it's still a debate between receiving a prescription you can use where u like, vs ordering through sites who prescribe the current order for you and only from that site

Yeah twas 2 years ago, got prescribed 100 pills of 5 mg generic fin
Is it cheaper than ordering online from a domestic pharmacy? Assuming your prescription was for 1 mg? I know it's 5 but I'm trynna compare. So did your 100 5 mg pills cost less than 100 1 mg pills online?

Yeah it was Ratiopharm’s fin which cost me like 45 jewros for 100 x 5 mg. I havent finished them yet. Propecia (1 mg pill) is expensive here and there are no generics for 1 mg variant here. The “Propecia” from Indian pharma costs like 200 euros for a year supply I think.
