I’m 28 years old and I’ve gone through high school, college, corporate career, all of it
You can never count on people unless they are related to you
Someone can be a friend today, a stranger tomorrow, or even an enemy
But your cousin still has to be your cousin regardless of whatever disagreement you may have
Your brother still is your brother, even if you end up having a fight
A friend? A social circle? Once you have that falling out, there’s no kinship holding you together. You are not part of the same lineage, you do not come from the same progeny, they have no biologically self interest in your well being
