Chronic diseases.
I've seen so many people slowly wither away to this, and everyone around them notices how they're disappearing, but noone has the guts to talk about it, they all cope about some magical cures that scientists are "on the edge" of discovering, yet nothing ever happens.
I don't want to lose more people to chronic diseases, I just wish their death would be quicker if they have to die, but nature extends their dying phase to the point where everyone knows they're almost dead, but it's rude to grieve their death, even with my closest friends and family, before he's fully gone.
