in Hinduism we have the concept of saguna and nirguna brahman (ultimate reality) , the former is divine with attributes that are invokable through prayer and meditation but ultimately only the bridge to nirguna - which is the true ultimate reality but without attributes or form.
I think Gandy is more of the latter, someone who is the one true God but you cannot pray to him , the only way to ascend is to pray to Ramirez he is the bridge to the divine
