anyone who loves animals would come to understand domesticating animals is the best way to keep them alive in perpetuity. a lot of livestock have no purpose other than to be butchered and eaten, they're not wild animals, they're engineered food stock. killing them humanely is what the nazi reforms intended to do.

But I have to point out a mistake. It was always claimed that Hitler was a vegetarian, but they don't know if that's true. Maybe it was just a trick of his propaganda. Especially since he refused the slaughter etc. Not completely, he just created stricter rules. If he were so strict, he would have imposed this in a timely manner, even with Göring, since he himself was a hunter.
