Yeah, I think you can get away with it until you’re 21. After that, people expect you to be more mature, etc. Plus, women who are 21+ prefer more masculine-looking guys. Something an emo haircut prevents you from achieving.i will definitely keep the look for as long as possible it works well for me
i live in the uk with lots of ethnics who are all thugmaxxed and look the samei did it in ukraine i think uk should be ok
I bet you had Enter Shikari posters in your bedroom wall, and also Deaf Havana if you were extra based.I miss being pure emo. Was a good time View attachment 3498895
My cousin was also into emo culture back in the 2000s, so it wasn't that weird.A minority within a minority.I only saw one guy who was kind of the same. Oh and a distant relative of mine was into MCR, but not sure if that makes him an emo kid.

brutal im lucky enough to not interact with dutch people too much and study in an international group so people are usually really nicei live in the uk with lots of ethnics who are all thugmaxxed and look the same

I live in a county with few ethnics and they’re all those wanna-be gangster hiphop heads. So you know how out of place I must have been.i love the emo sub culture

It was everywhere.Mirin your cousin. What got him into it?
Makes sense. It was nowhere here in the Netherlands. I was the only emo kid in high school. And I attended a white high school. It was everywhere.

You’re a UK Pakistani? Lol, yeah you can’t be emo there. You’re gonna get stabbed probably. My brother went to the UK with his wife and he said all the Pakistani guys were staring him down.i already feel left out every where

just depends town wise , if you live in a poor neighborhood with lots of ethnics then i would probably get stabbed
but if its an area with lots of white people then there wouldn't be much issue but its hard to find nowadays
Yeah, I live in such a neighborhood myself. Ethnics are everywhere. You should definitely go. I went to a metalcore show last year and I’m glad I went. Although I felt out of place, I was the only brown guy there. The supporting acts were from the UK, the lead singer ended up bumping against me after their performance. Lol. Anyway, I kind of felt like women felt unsafe by my presence since there were women who would look at me, some of them would keep looking even though I ignored them and focused on the show. Makes me feel bad about being an ethnic metalcore fan.pierce the viel has its tour and it comes to my city so it wouldnt be that bad if im alternative

When I brought emo into Honduras, everyone just assumed that I was being like Justin Bieber because they associate any hair that sweeps over your head as JB's since that was the most popular icon I guess nationwide or all over the world. You’re a UK Pakistani? Hahahahaha that happened to me here in the Netherlands too, for PE classes we went to an open field further away from the school and we would have to pass another high school full of ethnics. When I rode past one, some Moroccan girl yelled out “Justin Bieber!”When I brought emo into Honduras, everyone just assumed that I was being like Justin Bieber because they associate any hair that sweeps over your head as JB's since that was the most popular icon I guess nationwide or all over the world.
It was the most annoying experience because every time I went out, everyone was like, hey, Justin Bieber!!!
yes a lot of peoples culture knowledge is so tiny they just say its justin bieber hair even if it looks nothing like it and its been 15 years since he had that haircutWhen I brought emo into Honduras, everyone just assumed that I was being like Justin Bieber because they associate any hair that sweeps over your head as JB's since that was the most popular icon I guess nationwide or all over the world.

I remember I went to church in Honduras with my family and the preacher came up to me and he said, you know, the devil wants you to hide your eyes so you can't see the truth. He said, if you get a haircut, Jesus will come into your soul. I don't know. It's just so funny that people have all these weird reasons why I had a fringe.yes a lot of peoples culture knowledge is so tiny they just say its justin bieber hair even if it looks nothing like it and its been 15 years since he had that haircut
That’s true, people would consider us to be satanic. Ethnics especially would think the music is “funny” if they’re zoomers or “disturbing” if they’re boomers.when ever i listen to metal or anything of the sort , people think im a satanist and i live in a muslim dense area so i will definitely be called out for it , i now keep all of my interests to myself now but hopefully one day i'll find people to talk to about my interests , but currently its nearly impossible, i just do it online![]()
One of my high school teachers got frustrated by my hair falling over my eyes so she threatened to cut it with scissors. She literally took out scissors and approached me with it.I remember I went to church in Honduras with my family and the preacher came up to me and he said, you know, the devil wants you to hide your eyes so you can't see the truth. yes its not that deep and it makes me cringe when people come up with their own reasons as to why people look the way they doI remember I went to church in Honduras with my family and the preacher came up to me and he said, you know, the devil wants you to hide your eyes so you can't see the truth.
