I have seen to achieve the mysterious look you need :
1. High PFL+Narrow eyes(Preferably good color)
2. Wavy Medium Long dark hair
3. High cheekbones
When somebody has these 3 and has a wide jaw, he looks somebody with a lot of strength(and would look way better with buzzcut), someone masculine. However with narrow jaw you look like somebody mysterious(and stubble is another plus). Basically like orb. All mysterious anime characters have narrow jaw as well.

Most people associate a narrow jaw with it being short and recessed as well. But if it's ideal height with tall ramus, good forward growth, and definition then a narrow jaw can look good on your pheno and help you look more mysterious, as the post proves.
