You can't overdose in the way you do on most drugs where you die or vomit to death but you're brain prob would be fucked from the trauma of a horrible trip

Yes, it can happen. It can be possible that for a few months after you will still be feeling shitty after it. It's almost never permanent, unless you had a prior serious condition. Though it's still no joke lol, seriously please be careful with any type of drug , it won't kill you but lsd paranoia is real, I've never had it but I know people who took too much and legit heard voices for a while after. Not fun at all
