Literally woke up at 6AM to try and study 10 hours the other day cause I have an important exam coming up in a week, finals for my high-school senior year type shit and I timed 10 hours and paused it exactly whenever I would not study or get distracted and I realized how much ACTUAL focused study I am even able to do in a day and shit was legit at 6 hours eod. That's 4 hours of study ALL day , I can't even bring myself to sit and study for 10 hours for one of the most important exams for my college w it being a week away, while it's literally cakewalk to accumulate a 4 hour screentime on the gram you don't even realise it.

Our reward circuits have been completely fucking nuked to death by modern algos , its crazy. Niggas used to sit and read books for 4 hours a day for literal entertainment back in the day.

But yeah I'm fixing my attention span and focus for sure. I'm not giving up

Just take adderalll brooootal:lul:

agreed, also i think we underestimate the human body and brain, for example if we set aside __ hrs to do something it is usually completed in much less time than expected, for example if you set plan out one hour after work before you need to do something e.g. shit shave shower and get dressed before going to do something, I often find myself getting it done much faster, like 35mins if im not doomscrolling on my phone

I believe your describing Parkinsons Law, it is true that we work more efficiently under time constraints to effectively bridge the gap and get the work done, say ur working on a strict deadline etc.

If your truly operating at maximum work efficency 10-12 hours a day , your odds of success will massively improve provided you have 80-95th percentile IQ

Elon Musk apparently worked 120 hour work weeks when SpaceX and Tesla were both about to go bankrupt. Its hard not to make it when you have that level of grit and stubbornness on top of a 98th percentile IQ like musk.

@Jason Voorhees thots?

Yep, that being said, working as hard as you possibly can truly for 120 hr work weeks might be humanly impossible, its just inconceivable to work that hard for that long

I suppose that's what separates the average Joe from niggas like Elon musk. 99.999999999th percentile work ethic + high IQ genetics + unrelenting ambition is mogger combo no wonder people like him succeed. Shits almost inevitable
