There's a good chance we live in a computer simulation.


  1. Historical simulations would be based on historical data.
  2. This data includes public posts you had made in order to recreate you as a NPC, every single time any one wants to play a game, or enter a virtual world simulated based on this time period.
  3. You are most likely an NPC that has been recreated from your original posts.
It's one of the main reasons I write posts online (or my original self wrote the posts). To have enough data that backup copies of myself can be recreated for historical simulations.

These copies won't be perfect, so the ideal scenario is living long enough to reach "longevity escape velocity". Other backup plans include Cryonics, quantum immortality, and other methods with a higher potential for failure.

(Also think about the wording of your posts, because over the life span of the universe they may be used to create a near infinite number of crude "copies" of yourself, which could potentially all be suffering etc.)
