The reason I get so hopeless is because quite literally nothing has ever worked out in my favor in my life so far
So like any rational reasonable person I lose hope that things will ever get better, because they never have. It’s simple inductive logic.
In order to turn your life around you have to be irrational and crazy and think you’re above everything
The only way to claw out of this hell is to have blind hope and blind faith even when it doesn’t make any sense to have it
This is a huge positive of religion and honestly quite hard to do without it but so crucial to success, especially for people who started out handicapped and disadvantaged
