You know getting away with crimes is pretty easy if you plan it AND the crime doesn't get media attention

Most crimes are committed by single digit IQ folks who act impulsively. However, if you are a tad bit smarter than that, then you stand a good chance of getting away with your crime.

Take homicides for example. It's often easy for cops to establish a motive for homicides because low IQ criminals act impulsively. There are people that will shoot you to death in a fit of road rage.

But the people that cover their tracks, act with patience, aren't to flashy, etc. Those people rarely get busted

For sure. But CCTV trawling is no easy task for law enforcement. If you drive far from the crime location, switch cars, etc. It can make cctv trawling very very difficult

Genrally you won't plan a homocide it will be impulsive. So it will be easy to catch you
