Today dad found out that his spine discs has slipped. Its not that a bad thing but requires a surgery which makes you bedded for 3-4 months.

I just said "hey atleast the chances of you having a fatal disease like cancer is even lower now"

i think its a legit and objective consolation based on statistical facts.
