I agree with the title, but would add that you don't need to take this revenge immediately.

If you need to let years go by, that's absolutely fine. The perfect opportunity will eventually present itself, that's when you capitalize.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.


An example would be at work, had someone fuck me over on a particular project we did. I gritted my teeth, smiled through it and put up with up with his actions. Years ago by and I'm in a situation where I could really make life exceptionally difficult for this guy, and so I did.
