21 years. For 21 years I’ve lived and expected things just to happen to me, I thought life had a way of making things work out for you. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Every girl I ever could’ve had something with, I was waiting for them to make a move, I was only reacting never taking action myself.
This summer I met a girl, and the usual story started off, we talked, clearly had chemistry between each other, but I was once again waiting for her to do something. At one point I said to myself, if I don’t do anything now, then nothing will happen.
So I manned up and made a move, to my absolute surprise, it actually paid off. For the first time in my life I took action and I realized how much you can actually achieve if you just act. Even though we broke up, she taught me a valuable lesson. Don’t expect for things to fall into your hand, go out there and make things happen for yourself.
