You cant be in the middle of the moral spectrum and be happy.
For many years I thought I was a good person, but I only really cared about the positive
consequences of doing good stuff or bad consequences of doing bad stuff.
Understanding the fact that I might not be a good person has allowed me to actually be
a better person since I stopped lying to myself and others.
In the same way, if you do things that are
popular but maybe not moral and you feel bad,
its most likely because you are a good person and
being evil just isnt for you.
Living a life that isn't yours is
never gonna help anyone
be it you or others.
