If you want to actually get lean as fuck for summer just buy one of these treadmills that can go under your desk and just start fucking walking. I got mine for just under $100 from the brand LICHICO off Amazon and it’s a 10/10 so far. I put weights under to give some incline but they have a version that’s got an incline feature and also goes up to 8mph with a handle that can come up (really recommend if you don’t plan to use it with a desk it’s a lot harder than it looks without something to stabilize) and it’s about $80 more, worth it imo. It’s on sale on TikTok shop. I got inspired seeing this guy TooXChilly on TikTok who lost like 100 lbs so far in 4 months or so doing this method, he walks 8-12 miles a day at 3mph speed streaming Val. I started with 30-60min sessions varying between 3-4 mph in intervals and on my 7th day I just did 3.5mph for 2.5 hours straight. I calculated using omnicalc and here’s what it determined, I also subtract 20% of its estimated calories because I don’t want to overestimate my progress. I also put date time and weight but I don’t want to dox myself because I sent this whole thing to some people already lol
Anyways here’s also a pic of my setup, those adjustable desks can be found from Facebook wholesale flippers for like $70. I got mine a long time ago and finally found a use. If I wasn’t on a trip right now I’d have easily have done another 3 sessions of 2+ hours right now. It’s a great workout and super easy when you have something to waste your time w like a show or game
It’s training like the gym, in a month I’d be able to consistently do 3-4 hours a day at 3.5mph and burn over half a pound easy a day. Combining this with a high protein low calorie diet that naturally puts you in a 500 cal or more deficit you can easily lose 50 lbs by summer if you’re really overweight
