They on average receive lower quality education, lower access to cultural activities, higher rates of crimes (both perpetrators and victims) higher rates of obesity and other medical conditions etc. This wretched combination makes it way harder for lower class individuals to succeed in the UK on top of this the degradation of public services is killing any chance these people ever had at succeeding, they can't afford proper schools for their kids, they can't afford to get their kids books to read they can't afford to take them to the museum on vacation or anything.
