Even millennials haven’t lived the same, or even a comparable youth to what yours is like right now.

Being an average man is literally pointless now for the first time in centuries, that’s what they don’t understand, especially boomers

There is literally no room to not take risk and become exceptional. You don’t have time, you cannot just “live life” and be handed good things anymore, the formula literally doesn’t work anymore if you’re in your teens or 20s right now.

I think a lot of people here including myself will often see advice from old normies and just think they’re being delusional or willfully ignorant. But it’s important to realize they actually do believe what they’re saying, and the advice they give you actually did work at one point. There’s a big distinction there that isn’t talked about so much.

Just pretend to listen to your parents, sometimes mine do genuinely give good advice about internal matters, you just have to know deep down that they are somewhat clueless about our societal climate and external matters in these times, you WILL be set up for failure and live the life of a “surplus man” if you fall for the copes.
