By 18, you are probably not that informed, but you do have instincts.

Pretty much everything I believed in by instict at 18 turned out correct, even without knowing too much about facts or the real world.

You can always change your opinions, you're not at a point where you've to stand by your opinions and will lose shit.

Your true political beliefs (not what you proclaim) reveal what type of a person you are. Even a hedonist takes a sort of political stance.

Yeah sorta, but how you do anything is how you do everything.
You can truly make up a proper stance for yourself if you're informed about the pros and cons of it, and a alternative which is so widely removed from your primary stance.
